DIRECTOR Bryan Singer made two pretty good and well-received X-Men movies and then the somewhat off-target Superman Returns, so I was very keen to see what he turned his talents to next.
He went on to make Valkyrie, a wartime thriller based on the true story of a plot by Colonel Claus von Stauffenberg to assassinate Adolf Hitler and use the Operation Valkyrie national contingency plan to take control of Germany.

So completely bored and filled from lunch, my friend and I decided that we wanted to go see a movie. Ah yes, indulge in the glorious-ness of vacation at Christmas and go see one those Hollywood Oscar-bait films. In every scene in this film Tom Cruise’s character wears a uniform with a swastika on the lapel. One might think he’s taking a risky career move with his role in “Valkyrie.” In fact, he’s not. I was at first disturbed when i heard that this film was being made and i am even more disturbed now that it has been released. In fact its been out a long while now and i don't like it one bit.
