In particular, the band's guitarist, Eddie Van Halen, quickly gained widespread fame for his technical prowess and musical sensibility. Almost overnight, he was touted as one of the most innovative and influential American rock and roll guitarists .
Johannes Jonsson, one of the owners of Hagar which owns, among others, Iceland’s Bonus, Hagkaup and 10-11 supermarkets, told Stod 2 News that the company owners have not lost control.
