The Canucks return home for 6 games, but tonight they will be without the services of Jannik Hansen, who suffered a groin injury against the Ducks. That's quite unfortunate, as he was clicking well with Kesler and Burrows, scoring 3 goals and 7 points in 7 games. Jason Krog will take Hansen's spot on the 3rd line. Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Sun is reporting that while Sens GM Bryan Murray did not attend the recent GM’s conference looking to make a deal, his No. 1 priority is obtaining a puck-moving defenceman.
Garrioch also reports that Mattias Ohlund, who’s set to become an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season, could be on the Sens’ radar. Ohlund is the longest serving Canuck and was recently named an alternate captain.
