MUSIC NEWS - News from the tour bus; STONE TEMPLE PILOTS & ex- VELVET REVOLVER singer Scott Weiland recently posted the first in a series of video blogs from his current solo tour for his new release, Happy Galoshes . "In the last, I would say, about eight weeks, we got three guys in that were all really good — like, far and above, more fitting than the rest. MUSIC NEWS- With the the long-awaited release of Axl Rose's version of Gun N' Roses' Chinese Democracy upon us (and internet leaks already), seems that Velvet Revolver has been dropped by their record label, RCA. VR features ex- GnR members Slash (at left) , Duff McKagan, Matt Sorum, along with guitarist Dave Kushner. The band released two albums via RCA/Sony BMG; Contraband (2004), and its follow-up, Libertad (200&).
