What a fantastic way to start the week. Diane Kruger has totally blown me away in this Christian Dior Fall 2008 Couture sheer belted dress. She looks stunningly beautiful and effortlessly elegant, that even on the red carpet her boyfriend Joshua Jackson can't keep his eyes off her. She wore the beautiful black see-through dress to the Jaeger Le-Coultre Gala Dinner at the Fondazione Ci , which was part of the 65th Venice Film Festival. What I love about the dress, is the embroidery detail on the skirt, and I love her black bowed strappy heels, which are the perfect finishing touch to such ... Read Full Story

The Venice Film festival, which unofficially kick-starts the awards season leading to the Oscars, will be remembered chiefly for comeback king Mickey Rourke. Director Darren Aronofsky and actor Mickey Rourke received a standing ovation from reporters during the film’s press conference, as parallels were drawn with Rourke’s own troubled past. In The Wrestler, Rourke plays Randy “The Ram” Robinson, who has a blossoming romance with an ageing stripper, played by Marisa Tomei. His performance as the title character, the wrestler, an aging professional boxer who cannot come to terms with the fact that time has taken its toll on him, has garnered rave reviews. ... Earlier today Anne Hathaway attended the photocall of her film Rachel Getting Married, at the Venice Film Festival wearing a Lela Rose Fall 2008 dress. The gorgeous star looked chic in the cranberry strapless dress, which she accented at the waist with a black patent bow belt. She completed the look with black Christian Louboutin peep-toes. Tonight the big moment came. Her premiere, and it required a big gown, and not many come bigger than Atelier Versace . I would NEVER had thought that Anne was a Versace type of girl, but this dress is just divine on her. The colours works well with ... Read Full Story

A Vietnamese short film scheduled to screen at the Venice Film Festival was barred by Vietnamese censors for being "a little bit too sexy", a Vietnamese film official said Wednesday. The film, "When I Am 20", by director Pham Dang Di, was accepted by the biennial Venice Film Festival, a rare occasion at a major international festival for Vietnamese film. But Vietnamese authorities in August blocked the director from exporting the 35-mm print of his film, saying censors had refused to grant it a licence for public showing. "Earlier, the department watched the film to see if it could be shown publicly, perhaps after ... Read Full Story

Diane Kruger started off as a fashion model but soon turned to acting and from the sounds of this quote, has no intention of ever going back to modeling."The reason I stopped modelling was because I wasn’t pleased with trying to portray something that is impossible to reach. Even when I do photoshoots now for films, I’m just not interested in trying to look my best all the time anymore. That pursuit of an impossible perfection seems ridiculous...
