"The venture community is investing in promising startups. Keep track by following news, blogs, and sharing comments"
Fundraising by venture capital firms during the third quarter continued to decline, the National Venture Capital Association and Thomson Reuters said Monday. For the three months ended Sept. 30, just 17 firms raised a combined $1.6 billion. That was the lowest number of firms in 15 years and the smallest amount of dollars since the first quarter of 2003 when $938 million was raised.
