Verne Troyer's Ex Files a Restraining Order

(Bauer Griffin)more pics »Verne Troyer, perhaps best known for his role as "Mini-Me" in the Austin Powers series, has been slapped with a restraining order by a former girlfriend, Yvette Monet. According to document obtained by website RadarOnline.com, Monet believes that Troyer has threatened her and states that she is afraid for her life.

Monet claims that Troyer will text and email her constantly, despite repeated requests by her to cease all communication. One text, according to Monet, read, "I hope God is with you. It's kinda up in the air with Some of your actions." Monet goes on to state: "He said his friend Bert is a carrying guns and will do anything he says. And his friend Jose is a cop and has guns as well. I'm afraid for my life."

Monet, according to her website, is a former beauty queen from St. Paul, Minnesota. She was the face for Merle Norman Cosmetics, as well as doing some modeling for Miller Lite. She also says she has appeared in eight television shows, and has her Screen Actors Guild card, though a search through IMDB doesn't turn up any appearances by Monet.

Troyer, meanwhile, has had a rocky romantic past. A private home videotape of Troyer and a former ex-girlfriend have sex was leaked to TMZ, allegedly by his ex-girlfriend. Troyer also reportedly married a model, Genevieve Gallen, in February of 2004, but annulled the marriage the next day. Troyer's attorney claimed the two had never been married period, and that Gallen had invented the story wholesale for her own financial gain.
