Victoria Beckham Stays Fit to Avoid Airbrushing

Victoria is a perennial cover girl. Several months ago, UK tabloids speculated that the oft-photographed Victoria Beckham was suffering from an eating disorder, pointing to her slender frame as evidence of malnutrition. Beckham brushed aside the rumors, just as she had in the past, telling a reporter that she quite healthy, and that she didn't appreciate the constant criticism of her weight.

Beckham certainly appears tiny and trim on the December cover of the UK Harper's Bazaar, a look that she admitted came from many hours in the gym. Beckham told the magazine that she kept up her 7-days-a-week workout routine in order to look good in photographs, saying, "I didn't want to rely on retouching. I wanted to look at those pictures in 20 years' time and say, 'Wow, look - after three kids, I didn't look bad.'"

There's also Beckham's committment to fashion: the former singer has had surprising success with her high-end line Victoria Beckham Collection, and likely wants to remain her own brand's best spokesmodel.
