(Getty Images)more pics »Vince Young got in a strip club brawl during the week house of the morning Sunday in Dallas, and now the Tennessee Titans quarterback wants to make amends. He apologized to his fans, teammates, and coaches today after practice for the incident, which earned him a misdemeanor assault citation, according to
ESPN.
Vince Young (Getty) He said: "I just made a mistake, I made a mistake even being there and I let that guy provoke me into doing what I did. I pray to God that Roger Goodell doesn't come down hard on me, because I definitely want to be here for my teammates."
Vince is hoping he doesn't get suspended from the season opener against Oakland September 12, and Titans coach Jeff Fisher wasn't sure what would happen either.
"I'm disappointed," Fisher said. "He's taken responsibility for it. I like to think he's learned a lesson. He had no business making the decision that he made and obviously he's got to deal with those consequences."
Apparently the football star got in a brawl and didn't actually punch the other person, "it was just a push," he claims.
