Julia Goerges upset Katarina Srebotnik, second seed and local favorite, 6-4, 6-2 and reached the quarterfinals of the Slovenia Open. This is the second time in less than a month that Goerges defeated Srebotnik. Julia Goerges, who is ranked 99th on the WTA Tour, also upset the Srebotnik in the first round at Wimbledon.
