On August 30, 2007, the WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) suspended almost a dozen pro wrestlers for violations of a policy that tests for steroids and other drugs. The Albany County New York D.A.’s office is involved in the investigation.
“We are very actively working to eradicate the use of steroids and performance enhancing drugs in the WWE,” WWE spokesman Gary Davis said. “Today’s action is part of that effort.”

That is what was told to Chris Masters when he started his wrestling career in Ohio Valley Wrestling. I was told this from an inside source at the WWE over a year again when I commented on Master’s slender look when he returned in August of 2006.
