- Spellcheck. Be sure to spell each and every word correctly. Ask a friend to help proof-read the application or type your sentences into a computer that has a spellcheck program (such as Microsoft Word)
- Apply in only one language, preferrably english. Do not use more than one language within the same document
- Make sure that all of your contact information is accurate. Double check the address, phone number, etc
- Provide accurate job and educational history. Walmart will do a background check. It is better to be upfront about all past history.
- Follow up with a thank you note. Immediately after having your first interview, write a short thank you note and drop it off with the customer service desk at walmart. They will be able to deliver it to the person who interviewed you.
