Some allege that Sarah Palin fired Alaska's Public Safety Commissioner Walt Monegan because he refused to fire Palin's ex-brother-in-law Mike Wooten. Now that Sarah Palin is in the national limelight as John McCain's running mate, the scandal is making national headlines.
Walt Monegan has a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Administration from Alaska Pacific University. He has four children and resides in Chugiak with his wife Terry.
