The Seahawks were again without nine-time Pro Bowl left tackle Walter Jones and three other starters for Sunday's game against Arizona. Seattle hopes to have Jones back from left knee surgery, plus guard Rob Sims and tackle Sean Locklear back from sprained ankles following the upcoming bye week. The 35-year-old Jones has yet to play this season.

The Seattle Seahawks have waived fill-in starting left tackle Kyle Williams. The move announced Tuesday suggests that Damion McIntosh knows enough of the offense to start in Seattle's next game on Nov. 1 at Dallas or that nine-time Pro Bowl left tackle Walter Jones will be ready to make his season debut then.  

Kyle Williams was cut by Seattle for failing at left tackle, two days after Matt Hasselbeck got sacked five times in a dreadful 27-3 loss to Arizona. Before that, Brandon Frye, Sean Locklear and star Walter Jones all were hurt playing the most important position on the offensive line.
