The Seattle Seahawks have waived fill-in starting left tackle Kyle Williams. The move announced Tuesday suggests that Damion McIntosh knows enough of the offense to start in Seattle's next game on Nov. 1 at Dallas or that nine-time Pro Bowl left tackle Walter Jones will be ready to make his season debut then.  

Seahawks coach Jim Mora said Wednesday morning that quarterback Matt Hasselbeck will try to practice even though he's still experiencing pain from the rib injury that has sidelined him for two games.
