Miss Black District of Columbia 2008 | Amanda Lewis
I can't believe I know a beauty queen! Amanda Lewis (shout out to all my old Payne Memorial friends) is Miss Black DC 2008!!!
As her father is an Iraq War veteran, her platform is "enriching the lives of veterans through the arts". She has several appearances this weekend, including one at the Veterans Hospital in Washington, DC (50 Irving St. NW) today at 1 PM for Salute for the Troops.
Tommorow (1.16.08) she'll be in Baltimore at the Miss Black and Gold District Pageant. Miss District of Columbia and Miss District of Columbia USA will also be there.
