Have Manchester United Thrown The Title Away

What Was Fergie Playing At Not Starting Ronaldo.

Ok I know that Fergies main aim is to win the Champions League but I still think the Premier League is important, jeeez I would think I had died and gone to heaven if Manchester City won it. To be honest I would be happier with the Premier than the Champions League. Anyway Fergie didn't bring Ronaldo on until after the 60th minute and it was a major mistake because after their 2-1 win Chelsea are now level on points. Although Utd play Wigan who are now safe and isn't their manager that ex Man Utd player Steve Bruce. Chelsea deserved to win with 2 Ballack goals and it should have been 2-0 but for that stupid defensive error. Ronaldo wasn't really in it and to be honest I think Man Utd are looking a bit nervous in the run in. The next week or so will be interesing.

Poor old Birmingham must have thought they were safe being 2-0 up and knowing that Fulhan were getting beat 2-0 by Manchester City, it looked Happy Days for those Brummies. But football being football you just knew Liverpool would make it 2-2 and that Fulham would come back and hit a late winner to make it 3-2. Of course City had loads of chances but kept hitting them round the post, typical Man City finishing !

Sunderland love those last minute winners and yet again they fired one in for a nice 3-2 win and Kevin Keegans boys are still inspired coming back from 2-0 to draw 2-2 with West Ham. And Tottenham spoiled my bet by coming back to draw 1-1 with Bolton. I am glad I wasn't at the Wigan game against Reading. Reading who haven't scored since the invention of the car drew a blank again to get a 0-0 draw.

So Fulham are on 30 points with two matches left, Birmingham are on 32 and Reading and Bolton are both on 33 points so it's looking pretty damn interesting down there. Fulham are at home to Birmingham next week and if they win that then I fancy Bolton to go down as their last match is away to Chelsea. Personally I want Reading to go down as they have bored the living daylights out of me all season.

As for who will win the Premier, Man Utd are at home to West Ham and away to Wigan in their last two matches and I can see them getting full points. Chelsea have Newcastle away and then Bolton at home and I can see them maybe drawing against the Geordies. But I hope that Chelsea win it as Fergie pisses me off with his moaning when a penalty actually goes against Utd and plus the Man Utd players are the worst losers in the Premier. I swear if I was that ref today I would have smacked that tube Hargreaves with his yappy big girls face !

Anyways I lost my bet today but there is always tomorrow. I think I will head out to the offsales to get a few beers to drown my sorrows. You my friends, enjoy yer Saturday night and I hope you got a good bet up today.
