Octane Elliptical
Several years ago I came across this elliptical, at the time I was getting ready for a Fitness contest and was doing lots and lots of cardio. Now I am petite only about five feet tall so I do not fit on all pieces of exercise equipment. But my apartment complex invested in an elliptical machine called Octane Fitness. This thing is incredible, it is so smooth and comfortable (very important when doing one and half hours of cardio per day). After researching this Octane Q47 Elliptical I found out that it has something called SmartStride which individually fits every exerciser with a size-based programming and the unique Hip Indexing Pivot (HIP) that measures your hip height and speed to optimize your strides and maximize muscle use throughout your workout. The only negative thing I can say is that it is very pricey running somewhere in the neighborhood of $3000. I have never seen one of these in a health club, gym or otherwise, so at some point I will have to break down and buy one!
