BROADWAY BOUND: Jonesboro native and actor Wes Bentley (American Beauty) will soon star in Classic Stage Company’s production of David Ives’ Venus in Fur. Off-Broadway performances at CSC run Jan. 13 to Feb. 21, Playbill reports.  

Senior All-America Jason Westrol, junior post Brian Tracey and junior guard Tom Dowling combined for 57 points to lead Bentley University to a 71-61 win over Assumption College in non-conference men's basketball at Laska Gym yesterday afternoon. Westrol poured in 26 points, and Tracey piled up 19 points and 18 rebounds, as Bentley University led throughout en route to a 78-55 win over Franklin Pierce University on Friday.
