This is one of the most obvious announcements we've been waiting to hear: Wes Craven will return to direct Scream 4 . He's always been attached as a producer, and with Kevin williamson writing the script and Clan Arquette returning, it would just seem backward if Craven hired someone else to direct, especially when he can double his payday going behind the camera. So I do not really care for this bit of news but it is Friday and so the lack of good stuff puts me into the position to have to write it up. So there is a Scream 4 in development . We know the Arquette family is back now it appears the main star from the original films, Sydney Prescott (Neve Campbell), will be back for the fourth installment in the horror/thriller franchise. After an early screening of "The Last House on the Left," horror film director Wes Craven gave a brief interview, in which a few future movie projects were given the thumbs up. Films that are possibly in the works include; "People Under the Stairs," "Shocker," and "The Hills Have Eyes 3." The hot chicks in Wes Craven’s horror flicks make us wanna scream. This Friday, the remake of writer/director Wes Craven ’s low budget 1972 horror classic The Last House on the Left hits theaters.
