Senator Grassley Says Something Inappropriate About 'Your Wife'

Your wife said the same thing. -Sen. Charles Grassley to Sen. Kent Conrad, after he said "Oh, you're good."

As Grassley and Sen. Kent Conrad (D-ND) bantered back and forth, the two got to ribbing each other. Grassley chuckled and said "Oh, you are good."

"Your wife said the same thing," came Grassley's quick reply.

Grassley has gotten himself into the news several times recently for saying controversial things. First there was his suggestion that AIG executives who took bonuses from federal bailout money should either quit or kill themselves. Then again on the same subject when he said the execs were "sucking the tit of the taxpayer."

Now he's making jokes about people's wives? That is one salty senator. Check out C-Span for the video.
