John F. Wood, United States Attorney for the Western District of Missouri, has announced that a Columbia, Missouri, woman pleaded guilty in federal court for participating in a conspiracy to distribute anabolic steroids and to money-laundering.
April Dawn Wilson, 33, of Columbia, pleaded guilty before U.S. Magistrate Judge William A. Knox to the conspiracy charge.

Richard Lazzaro, a 39-year-old from Cheektowaga, has pleaded guilty before Chief District Judge William Skretny to distributing anabolic steroids .
Lazzaro obtained and distributed steroids while employed as a detention officer at the Buffalo Federal Detention Facility in Batavia, according to Assistant U.S. Attorney Michael McCabe, who is in charge of the case.
