Wild Birds and Birdwatching

Winter is the best time to set up bird feeders, as birds are trying to fatten up during the season. There are a few birds that tend to visit the feeder quite often.  

We have a very active Naturalists club in Princeton which sponsors conservation projects such as Swan Lake, field trips, and many others. I like to read their newspaper reports telling about what they observe on the field trips as often birds are described. Seeing birds in their natural surroundings is exciting, interesting, and rewarding to me and tens of thousands of others in Beautiful BC.
