The next winery on our tour of Katsunuma wineries in Japan was directly across the road from Domaine Chateraise , the Chanmoris Winery owned by the rather long named company Koshu Budou ShuHonPo . Not sure what that translates as but Koshu Budou = Koshu Grapes , which are the only native grapes to Japan, and make up a lot of Japanese wines. Aside from being the easiest sweet wine for beginners to drink, Duplin (pronounced doop-lynn) Vineyards's claim to fame is being the largest producer of Muscadine and Scuppernong wine in the world. Located in the town of Rose Hill, this North Carolina sweet wine producer was founded in 1976 by the Fussell family. By Wink Lorch Everything seemed yellow on our first wine tour in Collio in north-east Italy, right on the Slovenian border.
