Though Winona Ryder swore to God that the sequel was happening, Michael reveals he has spoken to writer Dan Waters , who admitted he knew nothing about a sequel.

Winona, 37, has often spoken about a sequel to the hit film, where she played murderess Veronica Sawyer, but director Michael Lehmann and writer Dan Waters are not planning another flick.
"Winona brings it up every once in a while, and Dan Waters and I will joke about it, but as far as I know, there's no script and no plans to do the sequel," Lehmann said.
