(Getty Images | Inset from 'Jeopardy') In a performance better suited to a Saturday Night Live sketch, Wolf Blitzer was completely dominated by Andy Richter on Celebrity Jeopardy on Thursday's show. Wolf is not happy about that score. (From 'Jeopardy') Andy Richter won the day with a tidy $68,000 while Wolf just keeps embarrassing himself. I don't want to give it all away, because you should definintely watch the video. But some of Wolf's responses are just jaw-droppingly bad. It wouldn't be so hilarious except Wolf is clearly pissed off and when Alex Trebek takes $800 off his scoreboard for saying "Julia Childs" instead ... Read Full Story

MEMORANDUM To: Leaders Of Rockland County, New York From: John J. Tormey III, Esq. and Tom Sullivan – Quiet Rockland Date: Wednesday, February 25, 2009 Re: A New Lawsuit Against FAA And USDOT The Associated Press reports that an activist group known as “National Air Disaster Alliance/Foundation” (NADAF) has sued FAA and USDOT in D.C. over air safety matters. As you know, Quiet Rockland has always believed that the real threat of the FAA proposed NY/NJ/PHL Airspace Redesign, is the one or more potential aviation disasters that the Redesign fosters and portends. Yesterday’s Clarence Center could become tomorrow’s Chestnut Ridge. And after all, the ... Read Full Story

This is a yet-unconfirmed report from one of many thousands of FAA employees. The source informs me of receipt of an e-mail sent to the source's FAA account from Failed FAA Acting Administrator Bobby Sturgell. The e-mail appears to have been sent to all or at least many FAA employees simultaneously. In this e-mail Bobby Sturgell has once again apparently named an Acting (here also, "Deputy") Administrator successor to himself in the form of a hack FAA lady named Lynne Osmus, just like TrailerBobby tried to do previously with Ruth Buzzi Leverenz before Ruth Buzzi Leverenz "retired" (read, quit in FEAR). Here is the ... Read Full Story

by Chris EdelsonIt's easy to praise constitutional rights in the abstract, to declare that you are a believer in free speech, the right to trial, the prohibition against cruel and unusual punishments when you're speaking only in general terms. The real test comes when you're asked to deal with difficult specific cases. read more

Dear Wolf Blitzer, As a journalist and news anchor, you've covered everything from wars and political controversies to natural disasters and balloon hoaxes with skill and aplomb. But oddly enough, the one topic capable of shaking you from your maddeningly even keel is marijuana. Yesterday, surrounded by your 50,000 enormous screens, you awkwardly told anchor Jessica Yellin that you couldn't recognize a marijuana plant (dubious!) but you...
