I am redoing my bathroom in a rustic style - Earthtones - twig-shelves, some barnwood, etc. (Not hillbilly-rustic, but more Rocky Mountain Lodge rustic.) They would be for the living room. The couches are color chocolate, so are the center and side tables (just a little darker). The wood blinds would be the same color as the couches. The bamboo blinds would be a dark beige, with chocolate color designs, those would match the couches.
By the way, there are two window in the living room, one big one and one smaller.

Have golden oak wood flooring on main floor, with light and dark furniture that varies per room. Upstairs is carpeted but all dark wood. Would it look weird from the ouside to use a light toned shade downstairs and a dark toned blind upstairs?
