That plugin is good, but not quite there. This one however works a treat: http://www.tarkan.info/20080530/tutorials/wordpress-plugin-multipage-toolkit-26
It did require a single line of code removing to stop it breaking permalinks. But it's exactly what I wanted.

Thanks, I've seen that page before, but it reads as more of a list of functions rather than a beginner's guide on how to program Wordpress plugins. I am really looking for a professionally written book or video tutorials since that has been the easiest way for me to learn.

Update: contacted service provider – still broken. I contacted my service provider they said that they don't cache sites (I'm still suspicious) and they sent me to the wordpress wiki to edit my wp-config file, which I did. I have the same results. No access to my admin panel and no formatting visible (I suspect that's because I can't get into my admin panel to set my permalinks). Any thoughts? Could something else be wrong? or even reassurance...
