gospel translations :: the open source mission

I really only know one language, and even struggle with pig-latin…   But I do know others who are multi-lingual! So when it comes to translating the Bible and other Christian reading materials into other languages, all that I can do is encourage others. So that is exactly what I want to do here! Mark Goodyear over at Good Word Editing had brought this to my attention, and I wanted to do my part to spread the word…

The Gospel Translations project has the goal offering as many Christian/Biblical books and articles as possible in as many languages as possible for free! This is an incredible mission, and a great opportunity for people to get involved with discipleship projects that literally reach around the world! Not only are there opportunities for multi-lingual people, but also some jobs for english-only people.

So even if you cannot translate, or fill some of the other needs that they have, you can help to spread the word. The list below contains several things that you can do to help get the message out, and ensure that people around the world get access to more and better Christian discipleship content.

So please prayerfully consider how you might be able to help. This is an incredible project, and has the potential of reaching lots of people with some of the best discipleship materials around. I just pray right now that God bless this ministry and for all of the recipients of the content that it produces. May God be glorified!
