There is a manufactured and fake discussion going on among a section of the elite in Pakistan. The discussion centers around Swat and what it means for Pakistan. This is what “they” want us to be discussing. Bruce Reidel wants to “convince” the Pakistanis into abandoning Kashmir and the Eastern borders and fight America’s war on the Western front. Vice President Biden doesn’t want to talk about the covert CIA operation that are being carried on in Pakistan. Are these covert operations part of the convincing? Obama wants the Pakistanis to carry on the White Man’s burden and murder the poor, and the destitute in the name of fighting “terror” or extremism or any othercliche du jure that they assemble.
The discussion is not between the secularists and the religious extremists anymore. After the amazing interview of Sufi of Malakand, now the ‘disucsison’ is between the pious religious parties and the Malakandis.
This was one of the great advantages of the peace deal. The Sufi is now totally exposed. The “emperor of Malakand” has no clothes.
The real issue is the Ralph Peters map, and the wealth of Pakistan which lies under the ground of Balauchistan and other areas. We have gathered some snippets from various sources to help our readers understand the jig saw puzzle of West Asia.
Our article focuses on three major points:
1) The Gold and Copper mines of Baluchistan worth more than $60 Billion
2) The Oil wealth hidden in the belly of the largest province of Pakistan.
3) The death of Akbar Bugti used as point to misinform the youth. The BLA a relic of the the buried USSR is now once again supported by Delhi and Karzai
The real discussion is not “secular” vs. “religious”. This is an artificial discussion. The real discussion is what will happen after the US leaves Afghanistan? The real discussion is the unity of Afghanistan with Pakistan. All other discussions are false flags of fitna.
Reko Diq Mystery: Why Americans are after Balochistan?
Details: Reko Diq is a small town in Chagai District, Baluchistan having the world’s largest Gold and Copper reserves 1. Reports emerging from various sources indicate that the US $ 65 Billion natural deposit might have been sold for US $ 21 Billion to Tethyan Copper of Australia which has taken the contract to develop this mine while Barrick Gold Corporation of Canada (a JEWS company) and Antofagasta of Chile have a joint-ownership of the copper-gold deposit at Reko Diq.
The Reko Diq deposit is being explored by Tethyan Copper Company Pty Ltd (75%) and the (BDA) Balochistan Development Authority (25%). Tethyan Copper Company is held jointly (50:50) by Barrick Gold Corporation and Antofagasta Minerals.
Currently the deposit is at scoping / pre feasibility stage. It is a world class copper / gold porphyry style deposit, typical of the tethyan belt. It has been sold to the Zionist controlled regimes by the Pakistani Government under the dictator at a price of $21 billion. Rough estimates suggest that the gold and copper at the surface accounts for $65 billion worth of deposits.
Dawn: Reko Diq is a giant copper and gold project in Chaghi, containing 12.3 million tons of copper and 20.9 million ounces of gold in inferred and indicated resources. The copper-gold deposits at Reko Diq are believed to be even bigger than Sarcheshmeh in Iran and Escondida in Chile. The Reko Diq copper deposits which is in the neighbourhood of Saindak copper project, is four times larger in copper ore tonnage than Saindak.. The most credible international surveys suggest that Reko Diq is one of the biggest undeveloped copper projects in the world with over 11 billion pounds of copper and nine million ounces of gold. So far, three foreign companies have purchased stakes in the strategic copper and gold assets setting off a cycle of ‘change of foreign ownership’ of Reko Diq copper project. Pakistan has only 25 per cent stake in the Reko Diq copper project. The rest of the 75 per cent stakes had first been transferred to BHP Billiton, the Anglo-Australian mining giant and then BHP Billiton under a ‘deed of waiver and consent’ transferred it to the Australian TCC and now TCC has sold its 19.95 per cent stake to Antofagasta Minerals.
Reko Diq is a small town in Chagai District, Balochistan, Pakistan, in a desert area 70 kilometers north west of Naukundi, near to the Iran-Afghan border. Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reko_Diq
Reko Diq, also the name of an ancient volcano, literally means sandy peak, but this is something of a misnomer. It could be called Tangav Diq, or gold peak, because according to development expert Syed Fazl-e-Haider, below the sands lie some 12.3 million tons of copper and 20.9 million ounces of gold. The copper-gold deposits at Reko Diq are believed to be even bigger than those of Sarcheshmeh in Iran and Escondida in Chile.
It is not a mystery anymore. Antofagasto is Chilean Company which has purchased this site.
Pakistan Project:
Awad said Antofagasta is targeting initial production of 170,000 metric tons of copper and 300,000 ounces of gold a year at its Reko Diq property in Pakistan, which it jointly owns with Barrick Gold Corp. Antofagasta needs clearer mining laws to make the investment required to develop the project, close to Pakistan’s border with Afghanistan, according to Awad.
Talks so far have advanced “very slowly,” he said.
The project is more than 1,000 kilometers away from combat areas between U..S. troops and the Taliban, Awad said.
The project may produce more than 350,000 tons a year of copper and 900,000 ounces of gold, Awad said. That would be more than the company’s largest mine, Los Pelambres, he said. http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=conewsstory&refer=conews&tkr=ABX%3AUS&sid=a5Tg_KsLeCxM
Gawadar Port is part of this conspiracy
Following questions arise:
1. Did Shaukat Aziz & Pervaiz Mussharraf sold our wealth at throw-away prices, without having discussion with the cabinet or parliament ?
Answer: Yes, because of their vested interest.
2. Do Zardari and others in the government have any idea, that what is happening at Reko Dig as the work in progress in fast pace. Why they are silent too and why are they also not discussing this matter in the parliament?
Answer: They have also got the share.
3. Why the so called champions of the Patriotism Ch.. Nisar, Nawaz Sharif, Imran Khan, Qazi Hussain and others are silent on this critical issue?
Answer: Need to find the answer.
ISLAMABAD, Pakistan—Akbar Bugti, a politician-turned-terrorist and a small time village thug who was taking India’s and Karzai’s help to raise a separatist insurgency inside Pakistan, was not killed by the Pakistani military. Instead he died when a rocket he fired went wrong, in what could also be suicide to evade capture, according to a close aide of Bugti who made this information public for the first time.
This revelation is a major breakthrough because the terror insurgency recruited young Pakistani Baloch men using a fake version of the story alleging that the Pakistani military killed the 80-year-old Bugti in cold blood.
Several news outlets, including BRASSTACKS, a Pakistani security analysis think tank, did explain the circumstances of Bugti’s death. But this is the first time that one of Bugti’s close aides has confirmed the real version.
Akbar Bugti, known as ‘little Saddam’ in his area of Dera Bugti, surprised all Pakistanis when, one fine morning in January 2005, he declared war against Pakistan after receiving guarantees from foreign powers based in Afghanistan that he will be given support to declare resource-rich Balochistan an independent country where he will be appointed an absolute ruler along the lines of the rich Gulf emirates. The federal Pakistani government discovered the plan and demanded Bugti’s surrender. His foreign backers and supporters failed to come to his rescue when security forces surrounded him in a mountain cave on Aug. 26, 2006, where Bugti apparently fired a shell at senior security officers who came to arrest him. As a result, the cave collapsed.
Wadera Muhammad Murad Bugti told a Pakistani TV news channel earlier this week, “When security forces entered the cave where (Bugti) was hiding, he attempted to fend them off by firing a shell. This caused a massive explosion, which resulted in the cave-in that led to the death of Bugti, one colonel, two majors and three commandoes.”
Another terrorist and associate of Akbar Bugti, Mir Balaach Marri, was killed on Nov. 20, 2007, inside Afghanistan as he tried to re-enter Pakistan after meeting his foreign supporters and backers.
Wadera Muhammad Bugti’s statement is a second major blow to the terrorists and their sponsors inside Afghanistan. In April this year, another plank of their propaganda fell apart when U.N. officials negotiating the release of a kidnapped U.N. official discovered that Bugti’s terror network based in Afghanistan was not only involved in the kidnapping but that its demand – the release of Pakistani Baloch women allegedly jailed for their political beliefs – was a hoax.
After the death of Bugti and Marri, Brahamdagh Bugti is now heading the terrorist insurgency and its only major group, the Balochsitan Liberation Army [BLA]. Brahamdagh is based in Kabul where he is sheltered in safe houses. BLA was the name that the former KGB and the Indian intelligence gave to Pakistani communist recruits who were paid to destabilize Pakistan during the 1960s, ‘70s and ‘80s, when the Soviet Union controlled Afghanistan. The BLA died with the end of the Cold War and the Soviet withdrawal from Afghanistan. Its revival under a U.S.-controlled Afghanistan is a surprise to Pakistanis.
The militant campaign for ‘Independent Balochistan’ appears to have at least tacit support from U.S. occupation forces in Afghanistan and is part of a wave of multiple insurgencies originating from Afghanistan and targeting the entire western Pakistani belt adjoining Afghanistan. All of these insurgencies did not exist before the year 2005, and certainly not before the U.S. occupation of Afghanistan in late 2001 and early 2002.
It is thought that elements in the U.S. intelligence community are cooperating with the Indians and Karzai’s intelligence to punish Pakistan for its refusal to give up interest in Afghanistan and Indian occupied Kashmir.
Washington is also trying to keep China, which has heavy investments in Balochistan, outside the region. Additionally, routes from Balochistan and Karachi all the way to Afghanistan need to be secured if U.S. is to maintain a long term military presence in Central Asia.
Brahamdagh Bugti and his supporters in Kabul and New Delhi have built an infrastructure of support for the anti-Pakistan terrorist movement that hides in the garb of a separatist movement seeking an independent Balochistan, carved out of Pakistani territories.
Indian experts in classic Urdu, Pakistan’s official language, help Brahamdagh’s people by writing high-standard Urdu-language press releases and emailing them en masse to Pakistani news outlets. One thrust of this propaganda was that Pakistani security agencies have arrested a large number of Pakistani women from Balochistan who are being abused in secret prisons for the crime of supporting Brahamdagh’s insurgency.
This lie was exposed when Brahamdagh and his so-called Balochistan Liberation Army kidnapped in February a U.N. official who happened to be a U.S. citizen. Brahamdagh demanded the release of the allegedly imprisoned women in exchange for the American’s release. Pakistani officials, U.N. officials, and FBI agents from the U.S. all checked Pakistan’s prisons and checked with all Pakistani security officials and it was ascertained beyond doubt that not a single Pakistani woman from Balochistan was incarcerated anywhere in the country nor were there any registered cases of such ‘missing’ women by their relatives. Professor Michel Chossudovsky says the following:
Pakistan’s Oil and Gas reserves
Pakistan’s extensive oil and gas reserves, largely located in Balochistan province, as well as its pipeline corridors are considered strategic by the Anglo-American alliance, requiring the concurrent militarization of Pakistani territory.
Balochistan comprises more than 40 percent of Pakistan’s land mass, possesses important reserves of oil and natural gas as well as extensive mineral resources.
The Iran-India pipeline corridor is slated to transit through Balochistan. Balochistan also possesses a deap sea port largely financed by China located at Gwadar, on the Arabian Sea, not far from the Straits of Hormuz where 30 % of the world’s daily oil supply moves by ship or pipeline. (Asia News.it, 29 December 2007)
Pakistan has an estimated 25.1 trillion cubic feet (Tcf) of proven gas reserves of which 19 trillion are located in Balochistan. Among foreign oil and gas contractors in Balochistan are BP, Italy’s ENI, Austria’s OMV, and Australia’s BHP. It is worth noting that Pakistan’s State oil and gas companies, including PPL which has the largest stake in the Sui oil fields of Balochistan are up for privatization under IMF-World Bank supervision.
According to the Oil and Gas Journal (OGJ), Pakistan had proven oil reserves of 300 million barrels, most of which are located in Balochistan. Other estimates place Balochistan oil reserves at an estimated six trillion barrels of oil reserves both on-shore and off-shore (Environment News Service, 27 October 2006) .
Covert Support to Balochistan Separatists
Balochistan’s strategic energy reserves have a bearing on the separatist agenda. Following a familiar pattern, there are indications that the Baloch insurgency is being supported and abetted by Britain and the US.
The Baloch national resistance movement dates back to the late 1940s, when Balochistan was invaded by Pakistan. In the current geopolitical context, the separatist movement is in the process of being hijacked by foreign powers.
British intelligence is allegedly providing covert support to Balochistan separatists (which from the outset have been repressed by Pakistan’s military). In June 2006, Pakistan’s Senate Committee on Defence accused British intelligence of “abetting the insurgency in the province bordering Iran” [Balochistan]..(Press Trust of India, 9 August 2006). Ten British MPs were involved in a closed door session of the Senate Committee on Defence regarding the alleged support of Britain’s Secret Service to Baloch separatists (Ibid). Also of relevance are reports of CIA and Mossad support to Baloch rebels in Iran and Southern Afghanistan.
It would appear that Britain and the US are supporting both sides. The US is providing American F-16 jets to the Pakistani military, which are being used to bomb Baloch villages in Balochistan. Meanwhile, British alleged covert support to the separatist movement (according to the Pakistani Senate Committee) contributes to weakening the central government.
The stated purpose of US counter-terrorism is to provide covert support as well as as training to “Liberation Armies” ultimately with a view to destabilizing sovereign governments. In Kosovo, the training of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) in the 1990s had been entrusted to a private mercenary company, Military Professional Resources Inc (MPRI), on contract to the Pentagon.
The BLA bears a canny resemblance to Kosovo’s KLA, which was financed by the drug trade and supported by the CIA and Germany’s Bundes Nachrichten Dienst (BND).
The BLA emerged shortly after the 1999 military coup. It has no tangible links to the Baloch resistance movement, which developed since the late 1940s. An aura of mystery surrounds the leadership of the BLA.
Baloch population in Pink: In Iran, Pakistan and Southern Afghanistan
Washington favors the creation of a “Greater Balochistan” which would integrate the Baloch areas of Pakistan with those of Iran and possibly the Southern tip of Afghanistan (See Map above), thereby leading to a process of political fracturing in both Iran and Pakistan.
“The US is using Balochi nationalism for staging an insurgency inside Iran’s Sistan-Balochistan province. The ‘war on terror’ in Afghanistan gives a useful political backdrop for the ascendancy of Balochi militancy” (See Global Research, 6 March 2007).
Military scholar Lieutenant Colonel Ralph Peters writing in the June 2006 issue of The Armed Forces Journal, suggests, in no uncertain terms that Pakistan should be broken up, leading to the formation of a separate country: “Greater Balochistan” or “Free Balochistan” (see Map below). The latter would incorporate the Pakistani and Iranian Baloch provinces into a single political entity.
In turn, according to Peters, Pakistan’s North West Frontier Province (NWFP) should be incorporated into Afghanistan “because of its linguistic and ethnic affinity”. This proposed fragmentation, which broadly reflects US foreign policy, would reduce Pakistani territory to approximately 50 percent of its present land area. (See map). Pakistan would also loose a large part of its coastline on the Arabian Sea.
Although the map does not officially reflect Pentagon doctrine, it has been used in a training program at NATO’s Defense College for senior military officers. This map, as well as other similar maps, have most probably been used at the National War Academy as well as in military planning circles. (See Mahdi D. Nazemroaya, Global Research, 18 November 2006)
“Lieutenant-Colonel Peters was last posted, before he retired to the Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff for Intelligence, within the U.S. Defence Department, and has been one of the Pentagon’s foremost authors with numerous essays on strategy for military journals and U.S. foreign policy.” (Ibid)
It is worth noting that secessionist tendencies are not limited to Balochistan. There are separatist groups in Sindh province, which are largely based on opposition to the Punjabi-dominated military regime of General Pervez Musharraf (For Further details see Selig Harrisson, Le Monde diplomatique, October 2006)
THE RALPH PETERS PLAN vs. THE PAKISTANI PLAN: Two visions…..
If the EU can come about through peace and economic progress so can the Muslim Union which is not a caliphate nor brought about by war, nor as a threat to anyone.

THE IMF MANDATED ECONOMIC RESTRUCTURING IS POISON FOR PAKISTAN
“Strong Economic Medicine”: Weakening Pakistan’s Central Government
Pakistan has a federal structure based on federal provincial transfers. Under a federal fiscal structure, the central government transfers financial resources to the provinces, with a view to supporting provincial based programs. When these transfers are frozen as occurred in Yugoslavia in January 1990, on orders of the IMF, the federal fiscal structure collapses:
“State revenues that should have gone as transfer payments to the republics [of the Yugoslav federation] went instead to service Belgrade’s debt … . The republics were largely left to their own devices. … The budget cuts requiring the redirection of federal revenues towards debt servicing, were conducive to the suspension of transfer payments by Belgrade to the governments of the Republics and Autonomous Provinces.
In one fell swoop, the reformers had engineered the final collapse of Yugoslavia’s federal fiscal structure and mortally wounded its federal political institutions. By cutting the financial arteries between Belgrade and the republics, the reforms fueled secessionist tendencies that fed on economic factors as well as ethnic divisions, virtually ensuring the de facto secession of the republics. (Michel Chossudovsky, The Globalization of Poverty and the New World Order, Second Edition, Global Research, Montreal, 2003, Chapter 17.)
It is by no means accidental that the 2005 National Intelligence Council- CIA report had predicted a “Yugoslav-like fate” for Pakistan pointing to the impacts of “economic mismanagement” as one of the causes of political break-up and balkanization.
“Economic mismanagement” is a term used by the Washington based international financial institutions to describe the chaos which results from not fully abiding by the IMF’s Structural Adjustment Program. In actual fact, the “economic mismanagement” and chaos is the outcome of IMF-World Bank prescriptions, which invariably trigger hyperinflation and precipitate indebted countries into extreme poverty.
Pakistan has been subjected to the same deadly IMF “economic medicine” as Yugoslavia: In 1999, in the immediate wake of the coup d’Etat which brought General Pervez Musharaf to the helm of the military government, an IMF economic package, which included currency devaluation and drastic austerity measures, was imposed on Pakistan. Pakistan’s external debt is of the order of US$40 billion. The IMF’s “debt reduction” under the package was conditional upon the sell-off to foreign capital of the most profitable State owned enterprises (including the oil and gas facilities in Balochistan) at rockbottom prices .
There are obvious similarities in the nature of US covert intelligence operations applied in country after country in different parts of the so-called “developing World”. These covert operation, including the organisation of military coups, are often synchronized with the imposition of IMF-World Bank macro-economic reforms. In this regard, Yugoslavia’s federal fiscal structure collapsed in 1990 leading to mass poverty and heightened ethnic and social divisions. The US and NATO sponsored “civil war” launched in mid-1991 consisted in coveting Islamic groups as well as channeling covert support to separatist paramilitary armies in Bosnia, Kosovo and Macedonia.
A similar “civil war” scenario has been envisaged for Pakistan by the National Intelligence Council and the CIA: From the point of view of US intelligence, which has a longstanding experience in abetting separatist “liberation armies”, “Greater Albania” is to Kosovo what “Greater Balochistan” is to Pakistan’s Southeastern Balochistan province. Similarly, the KLA is Washington’s chosen model, to be replicated in Balochistan province. (Michel Chossudovsky is the author of the international bestseller America’s “War on Terrorism” Global Research, 2005. He is Professor of Economics at the University of Ottawa and Director of the Center for Research on Globalization).
The Pakistani security forces are totally aware of the plans and are fully congnizant of the plans and the conspiracies. They are two steps ahead of RAW and the CIA. No harm shall come to Pakistan.
