In this article I'm going to cover how to farm gold in world of warcraft. Farming is one of the most lucrative strategies you can utilize to obtain huge amounts of gold. I personally have farmed in the past and made enough gold to buy my flying epic mount. Here are a few spots I've farmed and seen a lot of success with.

Winterspring - Frostmaul Giants are a great to farm in this area. You can find them in Frostwhisper Gorge. The downside is they aren't the easiest to kill so be prepared before farming this area.

Even though crafting professions (Leatherworking, Jewelcrafting, Tailoring and Blacksmithing) are temping to pick up, avoid them to start. If you're ready to overflow your pockets with gold, grab two gathering professions. Get herbalism and skinning or skinning and mining or mining and herbalism. Then simply sell the loot you get from being out and leveling up your professions. There is always a market for these items on the Auction House, and the prices are almost always more than fair for you. In my own experiments, I've found mining to almost always be one of the best and most lucrative professions, so you probably will want to pick that up.
