Xavier Nady could be out for the rest of the season. Xavier Nady is probably going to be riding the pine for the rest of the season, after an MRI revealed the extend of the injury to his elbow. According to Mark Feinsand of the Daily News , Yankees outfielder Xavier Nady was diagnosed with a partial ligament tear in his right elbow that will not require Tommy John surgery so he will only be out 4-6 weeks instead of the remainder of the year. According to Peter Abraham of the Journal News , two Yankees who have been rehabbing the past couple of days in extended spring training down in Tampa, Jose Molina and Xavier Nady , experienced setbacks today and may be out of the Bronx longer than expected.
