Yahoo's data center chief Scott Noteboom, joined Apple, he was the chief of Yahoo's Global Data Center Infrastructure, away from the Web company. Noteboom, who had led Yahoo's data center operations for 6 years he was working with Yahoo since 2005, now he is a "distinguished gentleman" at Apple, according to his LinkedIn profile. After announcing Wednesday it would be laying off four percent of its workforce , Yahoo revealed today that it was terminating eight of its Websites.
