Yeardly Love (UVA Lacrosse photo) Yeardley Love's killer, her ex-boyfriend George Huguely, has been sentenced to 23 years in prison. The former University of Virginia lacrosse player was sentenced Thursday in Virgina, reports People.com. The 24-year-old faced a maximum of 26 years in prison after being convicted of second-degree murder back in February for the 2010 beating death of Love. Yeardly Love (UVA Lacrosse photo) Jurors have found former University of Virginia lacrosse player George Huguely guilty of second-degree murder in the May 2010 death of ex-girlfriend, Yeardley Love.Huguely also was convicted of grand larceny, but he was found not guilty of the most serious charge, first-degree murder.
