Rumors Link Yankees to Yu Darvish

According to Patrick of NPB Tracker , the Yankees have been sending scouts to Japan to watch 22-year old righty Yu Darvish . Sports Hochi ran a piece the other day saying that the Yankees had three scouts watching Yu Darvish make his shortest start of the season, a seven-inning performance in Nippon Ham’s 10-1 win over Orix. Darvish didn’t have his best stuff, topping out at about 91mph, but still held the Buffaloes to one run on four hits. Obligatory repeating of myself: Darvish is... Read Full Story

Asia the Top Baseball Continent | DAILY SPORTS SELECT

From:  hotnonporn.com
Japan edges Korea 5-3 in WBC 2009 final for the ages I'm no baseball specialist, but I can't help but notice the baseball dominance that the Asian nations Japan and Korea have put on since 2006. Whether it's been Cuba, Venezuela or the United States, these two nations - who originally learned the game from American sailors and soldiers - have beaten all comers, with Japan winning the World Baseball Classic in 2006 and 2009 and Korea the Olympics in Beijing. With their historical animosity... Read Full Story
