Yu-Gi-Oh: The Jou Knights Rising [BASIC][PG-16][Not started][Accepting]

In the year 1981, living in secret across the globe, the Jou Knights were formed. They were an organization devoted to protecting the globe from people who abused the power of duel monsters. As a headquarters, they built the city of Vanguard, which soon became a thriving city with a population of not only knights, but of strong duelists.

But like all good things, the city of Vanguard had to fall, and in the year 1987, it did. A group within the Jou Knights formed, calling themselves The Zaigou Clan. This group became exactly what the Jou Knights were formed to protect against: duelists who used the power of dueling to gain power. Against them, another group within the Jou Knights called the Kibun Clan started, and excepted only the best. Soon, they were at war. In 1987, the battle of Vanguard begun and lasted for 5 days. 5 days of relentless dueling and effort went for nothing on the Kibun Clan's part. The Zaigou Clan eventually took Vanguard and all citizens were either killed, taken prisoner and then killed, or some of the lucky few were able to escape.

In 1990, survivors of the incident rose up again, and became the Kibun Clan once more. However, some Jou Knights who were neither Zaigous or Kibuns, created their own clan for their own cause. All clans except the Zaigous rose to the height of their power, and the battle began again. Eventually, all clans except for three died out: the Kibun Clan and of course, the Zaigou Clan, and lastly the Sounansha Clan.

Soon, all three clans were searching for a way to gain an edge in the war. All three found a source of unlimited power: the sacred gems. The one who possesses all of them gains power unimaginable, beyond dueling and petty games. The Zaigou Clan wanted all the world at their feet, and so, began the search. The Kibun Clan wanted to stop the Zaigous and end the war, so they too began the search. Finally, the Sounansha Clan wanted to gain an edge and mark themselves in history among the Zaigous and the Kibuns, so they began the search as well.

The year is 1995. The Kibun Clan has found a lead, a mere clue, to where a gem might be. Crafty as they are, the Zaigous' spies have found the clue as well, and have informed the leaders. The lowly Sounanshans, ever curious about the happenings of the war, discovered from a foolish Zaigou what was going on. Hence, the great search for the first sacred gem began.

Who will find the gems first? You created the gems? Who hid the gems? Who wrote these clues? All will be answered in due time.

1. All normal YCM RP rules apply.
2. God-modding means discovering all clues/gems extremely quickly, controlling someone else's character(s) repeatedly, or having technology from after 1995. You will get two warnings if you use technology from after 1995 before you are kicked out.
3. No arguing with me or Kazekage-------Gaara.
4. The password is any two-legged animal that isn't a mammal. For birds, you must be specific. If you say something someone has already been said, you will be denied.
5. You may have up to three characters, but if you have more than one, they must all be in different clans.
6. Although this is a Basic RP, please try and write more than one sentence per post.
7. Pop Culture cards are allowed, but they must be approved by me and me alone. PM them to me.
8. No OOC posting after we have started. PM stuff to us if you must.
9. You can use weapons but you you should mostly rely on dueling.

Bio: Alexander isolated himself from everyone else at an early age. He was found by a priest when he was a baby, and nobody knew anything of his parents. He was raised at the church the priest belonged to, and decided to go off on his own at the age of 9. From then on, he raised himself. His true reason for leaving the only home he had, the church, was because he didn't want to get attached to anything. He didn't want any weaknesses for the road ahead. Personality: Like Yugi except not weak. XD
Bio: Separated from his family at an early age, Finnius started dueling, because it was something to do, and something to keep him happy. However, his skills weren't good enough for the situations he was throwing himself into, such as tournaments. So the Jou Knights trained him, knowing he had good intentions and a pure heart.
