SHERRILL — Yvette Marie (Burgess) Tourville, age 85, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on Dec. 21, 2009 after a lengthy illness.

Yvette RowlettYvette Rowlett, who advocated for disadvantaged children as an educator for Elk Grove schools and the California Department of Education, died Dec. 5 at age 51.
She died of pulmonary sarcoidosis, a rare lung disease, said her husband, Al Rowlett. She also had cancer, which was first diagnosed four years ago and returned after a period of remission, he said.
