Posen will soon launch a lower-priced line, Z-Spoke, exclusively at Saks Fifth Avenue, with intentions to expand to other retailers eventually. Zac Posen is stepping into a new line by launching Z Spoke, a lower-priced line that is to be sold exclusively at Saks Fifth Avenue in Spring 2010. The American designer has a new Sportswear endeavor in this 60 piece collection. It’s Monday morning and Zac Posen is zipping around his TriBeCa studio, laid with a circular piece of Pepto-pink carpet (re-appropriated from his spring 2009 runway show), which exactly matches a color group from his latest collection, complete and neatly hung on four color-coded racks. First, American designer Zac Posen eliminates the VP of Communications position at his company, then he decides to shock us again. Posen is designing an affordable clothing line (called "Z Spoke") for Saks Fifth Avenue.
