He's the next designer for Target's Go International series, which features limited edition collections at a bargain price, the Web site for Women's Wear Daily, WWD.com reports. The collection will be available at most stores and online at Target.com from April 25 through May 30, according to WWD.com. More on Fashion  

Staying with fashion a bit longer, the trend to hire big name designers for short runs of clothing and furniture is nothing new at this point. And it's certainly no longer a novelty at Target, who we've seen recently rolling out products crafted by the likes of Thakoon Panichguls and Studio Dror, and who, at the beginning of the economic collapse said their strategy would be continue to hire top names until the end of time. Editors entering the Zac Posen for Target preview this morning were forced to sign non-disclosure agreements before viewing the line, because for unknown reasons, Target doesn't want anyone who might be interested in buying it to see the line early and get excited now. Last we spoke about Zac Posen's lower-priced diffusion line, it was on hold due to the weak economy. No fear - it's back. Z Spoke is set to hit Saks Fifth Avenue exclusively in the Spring. The 60-piece range focuses on sportswear via knits, blazers, pleated khaki shorts, and shirts. The best part? The starting price point is $78. "Zac has always wanted to do a line that would be Zac Posen, but maybe talk to a different girl,” said Ron Frasch...

Today, WWD announces Posen is launching a lower-priced line, an increasingly common business strategy for young designers in the recession. So far Doo-Ri Chung, Thakoon Panichgul, and Richard Chai, among others, have launched lower-priced lines. Posen's main collection retails for the not-so-recession-friendly...
