"Are you ready to get down with the sickness? Movie logic dictates that you shouldn't remake a classic, but Zack Snyder's Dawn of the Dead defies that logic and comes up a winner. You could argue that George A. And it provides a portal for newcomers taking their first tour through Moore and Gibbons’ thought-provoking but pessimistic universe. Their next step should be toward the bookstore, where the definitive version of Watchmen still waits. It’s somewhat appropriate for director Zack Snyder to accept the challenge of translating Watchmen to film. I never thought it was a good idea in the first place. When it was first announced that Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons' comic book masterwork THE WATCHMEN would be adapted to the big screen many moons ago, my hackles were raised like never before.
