New Zimbio Browser Button

Zimbio launches widgets with Grazr - Post one on your blog!

We've worked in partnership with Grazr to launch a new feature today - OPML widgets.    You can grab a widget for any portal, search term, or member profile and post it on your personal website or blog.  Its a great way to add fresh content from Zimbio to your site.   Here are a couple of examples: If you're a baseball blogger, you can post a widget about the New York Mets If you're more interested in politics, add content about Election 2006 or follow breaking news about... New release: create your own private portals

We're very excited to announce that Zimbio now offers you private portals.  Private portals are websites that only you and the members you invite can view and edit.  Just like public portals, you can have your own group blog, store links and photos, browse headlines, and write notes together. Zimbio now offers video bookmarking

We just launched a new feature – Video Playlists.    To check it out, click on the new “videos” link on the left hand side of your favorite portal.  The idea is to create a playlist (or 2 or 3…) of videos related to the topic being discussed on the portal.  Gurus can also add video modules to the portal startpage by editing the layout. Zimbio tops 500,000 unique visitors in January!

The Zimbio community continues to grow.  In January, over 500,000 folks came to Zimbio to learn about stories and people in the news, and to share their opinions. What was the Zimbio community interested in in January 2007?  Well, 2008 U.S. presidential campaigns began getting some buzz, especially Obamamania .  Members also discussed the trial of Barzan Ibrahim al-Tikriti , Genocide Prevention , and of course a bit of celebrity gossip .  Bloggers are a vital part of our community... Zimbio tops 100,000 unique visitors in September

A very warm welcome to all of our new Zimbio users!  According to Google Analytics, we’ve already passed 100,000 unique visitors this month and the count’s still climbing.  We’ve nearly tripled our traffic in the last 2 months.     It’s great to see so many new people coming to Zimbio and using the site.  There’re lots of new portals, ranging from Guatemala Travel to the Ironworkers Local 377 Union .  Members have also been linking their personal blogs.  Most recently, bescho linked csr... Zimbio now offers ESPN news and images on sports portals

We’re very happy to announce a new partnership with ESPN.  Gurus can now choose ESPN to power News Trackers or Images Trackers on their favorite sports portals.    Tracker features allow members to suggest and share their favorite news or image searches with the Zimbio community.  If you’re on a portal about “ Cory Lidle ”, you might suggest search terms such as “Cory Lidle”, “New York Yankees”, and “The Belaire Apartment Plane Crash".   To see ESPN results in action...
