A couple of OPML pages to test, and a request for feedback

Lately we’ve received a few different feature requests regarding OPML pages/files for public portals, and so we thought we’d open it up to the community for debate.   How should Zimbio support OPML?   Should we offer an OPML file or OPML page for each portal?   Should we nest our outlines so each portal’s Feedroll has its own category, or should we just keep our outlines simple and flat (which is less cool, but may be more broadly supported)?   Should we include all links and photos... Help Nominate Featured Portals

Many thanks to all of you who have been building and contributing to new portals.  Fantastic! It would be cool to choose a few new portals to feature on our homepage, perhaps on a rotating basis.  We'd like to feature portals that have a number of members contributing to them - to highlight the collaborative nature of Zimbio.  So here is the big question....Which portals should we feature? Please leave comments to this blog entry if you'd like to nominate specific portals... Read Full Story

Online Office Hours?

We've been toying around with the idea of holding some "office hours" in our live AIM chat room, so we can all have a real-time, group discussion.  We could center it either on online support (people asking help-related questions and hopefully getting answers) or have it be more of a feedback forum to discuss what is and isn't working on Zimbio. What do you think?  At a minimum, could be an interesting experiment. Read Full Story
