Falling timber, delivering firewood Dave is making special preparations to go on vacation with me for 2 weeks. He’s working extra hard in the woods to earn cash money for the trip. That means he’s up between 4:00a.m. and 5:00a.m., out the door by 6:30a.m. and in the woods shortly after 7:00a.m., cutting and loading his truck. He’s able to make 2 deliveries a day and he’s finding huge trees that require some splitting just to get the blocks of wood up onto the 1 ton flatbed truck. His strength is tremendous. Bipolar is a mixed bag, and actually, when properly managed, it is a true blessing. The highs are phenomenal.  The lows are devastating.  However, if managed, life can be extraordinarily wonderful.  It takes extremely hard work and perseverance but it is certainly worth it.  I am proof.  I now know how to live in the moment and enjoy the simple things.  I’ve enjoyed wealth and I’ve also known what it’s like to lose everything.  I was stripped even to the point of having no clothes.  A girlfriend gave me a bra and I wore my boyfriend’s jeans for months.  Lucky him!  Stuff just doesn’t ... I found out I was bipolar, when I was in the ninth grade..Which going through all the stuff I had to like hospitalization and meds. I eventually dropped out, but am now in college. Though I have my meds stabilized it doesn't always make for the lovel...
