The 40th Annual NAACP Image Awards was hosted by Tyler Perry and the lovely Halle Berry at the Shrine Auditorium in LA. The awards honor achievements and performances of people of color in TV, film, music and literature. Beyonce kicked the show off singing her song "Halo" and later won an Image award.
