A judge shot down Madonna's request to adopt a second child from Malawi. The singer's lawyer, Alan Chinula, confirmed that Madge was not granted custody of 3-year-old Chifundo "Mercy" James and refused to discuss the ruling further. Madonna, who was not in court, can appeal to the Supreme Court.
