Illy is one of the many companies that produce coffee pods. They packets are made using filter paper that includes natural fibers. They are bleached wit oxygen and no amount of chloride is used. The packaging of the Illy pods are made of a very thin layer of plastic mixed with aluminum that serves as a barrier to oxygen. This guarantees that the nice coffee smell is kept for a considerable time.
