I came across Alice Stevenson's work via a post on Design*Sponge a few weeks ago about British textile designers. I made sure to email myself the link to her website to peruse when I had some free time. A big thanks to Twig & Thistle for introducing me to Lisa Rupp . Lisa Rupp is a graphic designer, illustrator and crafter based in Arizona. She creates bold prints full of rich color. I really respond to the print below with its bold combination of plum and mustard. This is one of my favorite luggage labels out of portugal. Most likely from the late 1950s. I love the colors. Who wouldn’t want to stay in a hotel with bright orange panels as part of the facade? This hotel still exists and it really does have orange panels.
