I got this phone as a replacement from apple a month ago. I have not dropped it, and there is no water damage. All of a sudden on Christmas Eve, I take my phone out of my purse and my screen has these gray lines and gray blurs and you can only see part of my apps. The touchscreen works, i can call I can text i can listen to music. The display progressively got worse, I did a hard reset and nothing happened. When I have written emails from the mail program and I have started typing a contact name, a series of names automatically come up that I have sent emails to previously. I misspelled an email address one time and the mail was obviously rejected for an incorrect address. Unfortunately, every time I now begin typing the correct name in the To field, the incorrect (misspelled) name also comes up as a choice. Just did an iPhone 3Gs hardware swap last week. Restored from last session.Have not been able to get iPhone to play any of the audible SMS/MMS alerts since the restore.Side switch is not in vibrate mode.
