Hello, I requested that my carrier completely block all data from my phone. Now I sometimes get a message saying could not connect to cellular network etc. opping up in my home screen Is this because my phone is trying to do automatic updates etc. that require data and is showing this error because of the data block. Hi,A few weeks ago my 3 Year old HP Pavillion finally bit the dust, not sure on the specifics but I think the motherboard died, either way it was deemed uneconomical to repair it, so I now use my work laptop for my home computing needs. I recently moved my iTunes folder from an old XP laptop to a new Vista one. I set-up iTunes on the new computer loaded everything from the old folder into the newly installed iTunes and everything seems to be working well. However, now when I do a back-up, it hangs at about the 75% mark and doesnt progress any further. On my old computer, the back-up took about 10-15 minutes. I know this has to be simple but I cant for the life of me find how to resync my music from iTunes back to my iPhone. Most of my music came from a CD that was then pulled into iTunes after I saved the music files as mp3s. Hi, when I go to Settings>General>Network, it only shows my VPN. There is no APN. I did have my carrier Fido completely block data. So is this the reason why my APN is not being displayed. The reason I am somewhat concerned about this is I may want to have data in the future, and if there is no APN, does this mean I am not eligible to have a data plan? Is there any way to see what data is being sent over the cellular network?After upgrading to 3.1 OS my battery life has dramatically decreased (like reported on many other posts) but a few other clues cropped up at to why this is.If I place my iPhone next to a speaker it buzzes away nearly non-stop now (it didnt do this before).
