iPhone 3G

Short Version: my warranty is long expired and still experiencing a problem the geniuses claimed was not a problem. My vibration motor is extremely loud in a very bad way, it sounds more like a rattle then a vibration.Long version (please read) I got my phone 1 month after the 3G launch, and within a week experienced a 3G antenna failure. I have had my phone for more than a year. The other day I woke up to use it and in the upper right corner there was a series of dots on the screen. (I did not drop the phone recently, I did drop it a couple of times a couple of months prior, but at least 4 months from a drop and this problem). I tried to power-off and restart. My iPhone 3G was disabled because a friend entered the passcode wrong too many times. It says connect to iTunes and I have tried but iTunes says :iTunes cannot connect your iPhone iPhone because it is locked with a passcode. You must enter your passcode on your iPhone before it can connect to iTunes.But, the problem is, I cant because its locked.Would the fact I have Windows Vista have anything to do with it?Help! Hi All,Ive recently requested an unlock from O2, as Im going abroad for a month soon and wish to use a different carriers Sim Card temporarily.Ive received the text back from o2, which asks me to put in the new sim card, and then connect to iTunes. I synced my iPhone today and when I went to use it later all of my contacts were gone. I was using the MobileMe trial up until a few days ago. I suspect this is the culprit behind my lost contacts. I tried using the backup feature within iTunes, but it didnt solve the problem. I have Time Machine backups of my system, but without having done explicit backups of my iPhone Im not sure I have any data there. This 3G has become so slow, its not enjoyable to use sometimes. I left about 500MB free assuming this phone does some sort of PFing. Ive restored this phone plenty of times... but all the musics and apps are back on the phone, it becomes sluggish again. Loading web pages takes forever... and while a page is loading you cant really type anything into a text box because each key has 1+ second delay... so instead you have to wait for the whole page to load, which sometimes takes upwards of 1-2...
