iPhone 3G

I started my contract in July 08 and am currently on my 3rd iPhone as the first two had cracks on the casing. My last replacement was May 09 therefore making my current phone 6 months old. Since Friday I have been having problems with my phone crashing and saying I need to reconnect to iTunes to restore but when I connect to iTunes, it doesnt recognise the iPhone (it also says the IMEI and ICCID numbers are unknown). I dont know if this is an issue or not, but Ive just noticed this.My iPhones screen appears to have a border runnign around it of two or three blank pixels. It runs right the way around the edge of the screen. The main image the screen projects shows in full but appears a touch squashed.Ive reboot and hard reset the phone, but no improvement. About a week ago, I noticed that my Iphones battery life was extremely short, even when I was not using the Iphone. (It goes dead overnight.) I changed some of the settings to minimize battery usage, but that didnt do any good. Argh!I plugged in my iPhone the other day for an hour… but nothing happened. No charge. Weird. What I was looking for: I just traded my 1st gen iPhone for a 3G phone. I work in the hospital wearing scrubs, so I would put my phone in my pocket. Im in the middle of my AT&T contract for my iPhone 3G and I may be moving overseas. When I spoke with someone at AT&T about this, she said that it would be possible to terminate my contract on account of the move but that my iPhone would remain locked, period. End of story.
